Golf - Why Not Try The Mendip Golf Club?
At Manor Farm we are pleased to recommend - The Mendip Golf Club - established in 1908, to our golfing guests.
Manor Farm offers guests excellent leisure facilities, both inside the house and outside in the garden.
There is a large and sumptuously furnished Drawing Room solely for the use of bed and breakfast guests, with open 'Minster' fire, colour television, video player, DVD player, magazines and books.
The drawing room is a truly beautiful room in which to relax.
Upstairs, the original Cheese Room has been converted into a huge Games Room with wonderful vertical wooden beams.
This has a slate bed pool and snooker table, dart board, widescreen television, DVD player and video, a PlayStation 2 Console, board games, Lego, and books.
A selection of computer games is available, but some guests also bring their own favourites from home. Popular with children and adults alike, this is an informal room in which to have fun.
Children often use the Games Room after their breakfast, leaving parents time to enjoy another cup of tea, a quiet chat, or to read the daily newspaper.
Outside, the walled garden has a large lawned area and pretty flower borders. There is plenty of seating both in the sun and the shade, a swing, barbecue facilities, croquet and boules sets. For children, there is a selection of ride-on toys including a very popular replica John Deere pedal tractor!
For a walking holiday, Manor Farm is hard to beat. Wonderful countryside walks start immediately from the main gate and the location is designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty.

On Location: Stay Near The Set For The Film 'Hot Fuzz'
The brilliant film comedy 'Hot Fuzz' starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost was filmed in Wells - known as Sandford in the movie. The film was directed by Edgar Wright, who was also responsible for the cult classic 'Shaun of the Dead'.
Manor Farm is only two miles from central Wells so why not come and stay and see where the film was made!
