The Ploughboy Inn at Green Ore [2 miles]
This is where we go. Frequented by the locals and in Good Beer Guide 2007, The Ploughboy is friendly, down-to-earth and offers a great selection of dishes [veggie included] at very reasonable prices.
Local cask ales and ciders, good wine list. Rib eye, gammon, local jumbo sausages and curry highly recommended! Open fire in winter, pretty patio garden for warm weather. Children welcome. Closed
