Breakfast at Manor Farm - Choice and Flexibility
At Manor Farm, we firmly believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Guests are offered a wide choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, cooked breakfast, homemade toasted breads and marmalades, freshly ground coffee, teas and seasonal extras [for example Cheddar strawberries or hot cross buns]. Vegetarians are catered for.
There is no set time for breakfast - guests may wander down when they are ready! Using the best local produce, your menu choice is prepared on the Aga and served in the breakfast room.
Your breakfast table is beautifully laid with fine Portmeirion pottery and linen napkins and you can take as long or as short a time as you like to enjoy your first meal of the day whilst planning the day ahead.
Tractors and horse riders can often be seen passing by the breakfast room window, as the grandfather clock ticks restfully in the background. In the summer months, weather permitting, breakfast may be taken in the garden.
Home-made marmalades served at breakfast include:
- Traditional Orange Marmalade
- Orange Marmalade with Whisky
- Lemon Marmalade
- Lemon Marmalade with Gin
- Orange Marmalade with Fresh Ginger
Homemade chutneys and strawberry jam are available in season. These preserves can be bought from the farm during your stay.
